WindPower Monthly owners see large drop in profits

Pretax profits from Haymarket, which owns Autocar, Gramophone and Management Today, tumbled to £4.5million from £7.9million in the year to December 2008. A large chunk of this was due to a fall in value of property, and the cost of new acquisitions, including Windpower Monthly and Compliance Week.
